AUTOart 1:18 Aston Martin DB5 diecast model car review

The other day, AUTOart furnished us with a preview image of the first of its new 1:18 replicas of the iconic Aston Martin DB5. It is of the car finished in Caribbean Pearl Blue. It will be joined by Silver Birch, Dubonnet Red and British Racing Green. These models will all come with opening doors, bonnet and boot, and are all slated to be delivered later this year.

Joining this quartet will be a reproduction of AUTOart’s famous 1:18 model of the DB5 (complete with weapons) that was used in the James Bond movie Goldfinger. We’re talking machine guns behind the front lights, bulletproof shield raising out of the boot, rotating number plates, and of course the ejector seat!
