Spark 1:43 resin model of the #4 McLaren MCL38 as driven to victory by Lando Norris in the 2024 Miami Grand Prix. Lando's 2024 Miami Grand Prix meeting got off to an inauspicious start; after showing promising pace in the early stages of qualifying for the Sprint Race, he ended up only ninth on the grid. He was then eliminated at the very first corner with accident damage after several cars came together. Norris qualified a more promising fifth for the grand prix, and was able to make his medium tyres last longer than anyone else in the first stint of the race. This played to the McLaren driver's advantage when a Safety Car was called for a collision between Kevin Magnussen and Logan Sargeant, as he was able to make a 'cheap' pit stop and emerge in the lead. The general consensus was that second placed Max Verstappen would easily overcome Lando once racing resumed, but to everyone's surprise the Brit not only maintained the lead but comfortably pulled away from the Red Bull to take a hugely popular first Formula One win of his career. The unwanted record of most podiums without a victory could finally be discarded! Celebratory pit board (also paying tribute to the late Gil de Ferran) included.
