Solido 1:43 diecast model of the 1982 Volkswagen Caddy Mk.1 in grey. The Caddy came to fruition when Volkswagen's American arm experimented with a pickup derivative of the popular Golf model. Marketed as the Rabbit in the United States from its launch in 1979, the Caddy name was used when the vehicle was introduced to the European market three years later.
