Model Bikes

Replica motorbikes only seriously entered the collectior market in the 1990s when Minichamps produced a replica of one of Carl Fogarty’s Ducatis. In fact, this model was produced at the request of Diecast Legends. Produced in 1:12 scale, it was not the first bike produced by Minichamps, but it was the first that was taken seriously by collectors. In the years that followed, Minichamps produced bikes for most of the top Moto GP and WSB riders, and even for some BSB riders. They also produced many classic GP bikes. Road bikes have also proven popular, and the German company has produced replicas of nearly all the iconic road bikes of the last 50 years or so. These models are now highly coveted, especially as not that many model bikes are produced these days.
