Kess 1:43 resin model of the 1947 Rolls-Royce Phantom III Labourdette Vutotal in red/gold. The flamboyant Louis Ritter spared no expense when he commissioned Labourdette to produce a custom-built bodyshell for his Rolls-Royce Phantom III. It had brass inserts leaded into the body to accentuate the fenders, and even had vacuum-powered windows that moved up and down at high speed. Labourdette also took advantage of a new Vutotal patent that held the panoramic windscreen to the firewall using very large bolts, doing away with the need for a frame or supports.
