Forces Of Valor 1:700 diecast model of the German battleship Tirpitz from Norway in 1942. The Tirpitz entered service in 1941 as the largest German ship to ever be built. After completing sea trials the Tirpitz was sent to Norway in order to hold the Soviet fleet at bay and to protect against Allied invasion. The Allies committed a large amount of resources to locating and sinking the Tirpitz, finally succeeding in November 1944. Measures 36cm in length. Display stand and 'ocean' display base included.
